This is it – the last milestone. I’m actually starting to get a little excited. Just a little. Can you tell? 🙂
I can finally see the end in sight. My debt is soon going from five digits to four! This is the one thing in life keeping me going right now.

Congratulations! You are so close!!! It’s all downhill from here! I recently hit the 30s, and it’s amazing how just a bit of that progress really made things clearer, and helped me realize that I can do this. Thanks for the inspiration along your journey! I’m so excited for you!

Wow! Congrats!!! Are you planning on paying it off before the end of the year?? I’m so excited for you! You’re almost at the finish line.
You know what I noticed, most (if not all) of the bloggers you linked on your bloglines post is no longer keeping their blog up to date. I think it’s great that not only have you been working to kill your debt all these years but that you’ve maintained your blog alive too! So I hope even when you finish up paying off the debt, you’ll still continue to update your blog 🙂

I’ve read all your posts and have been silently following along, and this update has made me so excited for you! Such an inspiration and real story where everything did not just line up perfectly from the start. Congrats!
I hope you do keep blogging well past the debt payout–I think your writing style clearly hooks people in and you do a wonderful job story telling through sharing your thoughts and updates. Not everyone can naturally do that as well!

A big congratulations on entering this final stage. It should be a Christmas very different from previous ones because the debt will either be fully gone or very close to gone. Clearing my big debt is a satisfaction that is still with me three years on. I will keep following your progress and wish you the best of luck in this final stage.

Congratulations! I’m so excited for you. I’ve been traveling a similar debt paydown road and you have served as inspiration and motivation for me on my journey – especially since our debt amounts have been very similar over the years. As of yesterday, I’m down to one remaining student loan and plan to have that paid off by the end of November. Looking forward to seeing you hit the zero mark!

Party time! So glad you are killing it despite all the new job insanity. I root that with the fireworks of the new millennium decade your last 10K vanishes into the abyss. I’ve been following all your blogs, but have barely had time to take a breather between all my jobs, contract work, and side hustles and cheer you on. Last stretch, you got this!
I too am celebrating a milestone today: my car is all paid off, account with the evil bank closed, and I’m snowballing all that cash into my last $11.9K of student loans. A bonus at work last month helped – the first time in my life that I ever received something that is a small single digit multiple of 1000$’s. To think that for so many of people $3K bonuses are an annual thing… but not for me, not ever in my entire career, until finally now.
If all goes well, I have 7 more months till debt (sans mortgage) freedom. I hope you get an even better paid, but much less stressful job before next year is over.

Also sorry for being MIA. I just finished thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail on Oct 5th. Now I’m trying to catch up on all that I missed while I was hiking through the forest. 😀

Congratulations! It’s funny how the first $10,000 probably took so long to pay off, but now it seems like such a small amount compared to the over $100,000 that you’ve already paid! Congrats again!

I was thinking of you the other day when I saw you had commented on my blog (sorry, I still need to reply back.) That I can’t believe how quickly you have beaten this debt down to such a small number. I mean, just WOW. And yes, this should be keeping you going!!! YAYYY Happy dance, happy dance, happy dance. For me, pretty soon I will be celebrating my first year of working for myself! Of taking that huge leap of faith and just relying on myself to make money, not depending on someone else for a paycheck!!
